What if your goals are to just make some money and pay for college? How can you possibly phrase that without sounding line a total moron?

I personally ont like seeing objectives on a resume. I feel like they take up space that could better be used talking about your experience. When I am screening resumes the only time I find an objective useful is if someone is changing careers. Your objectives, and goals regarding the specific job or employer should really be addressed in the cover letter. College career councellors may tell you otherwise, but my advice for what it is worth is to skip the objectives.

The first line of your resume - the most important part of your career planning!

I'm in the process of applying to grad school and there are lots of colleges asking for resumes as part of the application. Should I change the 'Objective' to say anything that shows my desire to be part of that college or just leave my resume as is?
Thanks!!

Take out the "objective" part! Not many people even include that when applying for jobs anymore, and it definitely doesn't apply for grad school. You're sending them your resume to show them what you've done in the past. Your personal statement should tell them what you want to do in the future.

The Resume Objective in this video is to teach you how to get your resume into the right hands. There is the hiring manager, the HR recruiter and everyone else, this breaks down to 3 tiers. You want to avoid the 3rd at all cost and I will show you how!

Does anyone have any constructive criticism on my objective for my resume?

THANK YOU!!!

OBJECTIVE:
To obtain a position as an elementary school or middle school teacher where self-motivation, strong planning, organizational and leadership skills can be implemented. Interested and qualified in supervising extracurricular activities involving vocal music and/or piano instruction or performance.
Instead of "can be implemented" should I change it to "can be utilized"?

NEVER tell an employer you want to "obtain"; ALWAYS tell an employer what you want to CONTRIBUTE; reflect on the aphorism "Ask not what your society can do for you, but ask what YOU can do for your society" (Kennedy used the word "country" instead of the word "society" actually).
